History

Hair Studio opened its doors on June 2, 1986, under original owners Kate Thom and Monica Hamm. Their vision of providing professional, high quality service in an environment welcoming to all, has thrived for over 36 years. Our long lasting, loyal clientele and staff are a result of Kate and Monica’s treatment of everyone like family throughout the years. They operated Hair Studio with great care and an authenticity rarely seen in employers.

 

June 27, 2022 marks a new era for Hair Studio as employee Angie Bristol and husband Kyle Redlin take ownership. Together, they aim to carry on the traditions and values Kate and Monica have established while updating the space and services to reflect a modern salon experience.

 

We are ideally located close to the UW-Madison campus, on the near west side, at 3738 Speedway Road. Hair Studio Day Spa is a full service Hair and Body Salon with a genuine commitment to customer service.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to us! If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment we require a minimum 48 hour notice for color or chemical service and 24 hour notice for all other services. We understand that unavoidable issues come up. We will work with you in case of emergency, etc. Repeat last minute cancellations or "no shows" will be charged accordingly.

 

Gratuities are not included in the service pricing and please make note that we do not add tips to credit or debit cards.

 

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are available at all times, in any amount, purchased at the front desk. They can be used toward services as well as retail items. Ideal for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, as well as employees and business clients.
